I recently had the need to cut polystyrene sheets for the high altitude balloon payload enclosure. It is almost impossible cut polystyrene properly with a blade. If you do it you will make a mess. You need to use the right tool for the job. Read more

Point and shoot mods

I have just modded a cheap point and shoot camera (9MP) to give it the facility to use an external battery pack (5v) or psu and the most important thing, external shutter trigger.

Both mods are needed before this poor camera leaves the Earth bound for space.
